The IPv6 Address Types
Welcome to this module on IPv6 Address Types. So what exactly are we going to be covering for IPv6? The first thing we're going to tackle is IPv6 unicast address types and then we're going to transition into multicast and how it's utilized in IPv6. Finally, we're going to be wrapping things up with anycast and some of the uses that are common in IPv6 today.

ICMPv6
Welcome to this module on ICMP version 6. So what are we going to be covering? We're going to cover what is ICMPv6? Why you need ICMPv6 and really how is ICMPv6 used? How does it relate to IPv4 and how are we going to use it day to day?

IPv6 Prefix Notation
Welcome to this module on IPv6 Prefix Notation. So what will we be covering? We're going to cover how to represent an IPv6 network, which is pretty important. We're also going to dive into nibbles and prefix notation. And finally we're going to talk a little bit about the prefix policy table and how that impacts what goes on with the host operating system.

IPv6 and DNS
IPv6 and DNS. So what will we be covering? We're going to jump into what's new in DNS for IPv6. We're then going to look at some DNS configuration, specifically around client and server, and finally we're going to wrap things up with DNS Tools and Troubleshooting.

Router Advertisements
Let's jump into this module on router advertisements. So what are we going to cover on RAs? We're actually going to discuss what a router advertisement is, how it's different from IPv4, and how an RA is actually used.

IPv6 Neighbor Discovery
IPv6 Neighbor Discovery. So what are we going to cover? We're going to cover what Neighbor Discovery actually is, what IPv4 functions that Neighbor Discovery actually replaces, and finally, how IPv6 Neighbor Discovery is used.

IPv6 and Ethernet
Now let's jump into IPv6 and Ethernet. Is Ethernet really any different for IPv6? It turns out IPv6 has a specific EtherType, it makes use of more multicast and we're going to jump into the difference between Jumbograms versus Jumbo Frames.

Review of an Introduction to IPv6
So let's take a review of our introduction to IPv6. What exactly did we cover? Well we did introductory IPv6 knowledge. We really covered the basic functional attributes of IPv6 and we also talked about sort of foundational understanding of IPv6.
