Moving new or changed components into a live environment often introduces unnecessary risk, bottlenecks, and service disruption. In this course, ITIL® 4 Specialist PIC: Deployment Management (DM), you’ll gain the ability to successfully and efficiently transition hardware, software, documentation, and service components into live environments. First, you’ll explore the core concepts of deployment, including different environment types and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Next, you’ll discover how to integrate critical deployment processes—such as model development and lifecycle management—into your organization's wider service value streams.
