First, you'll acquire knowledge about the different types of load balancers and the advantages of using load balancer as a service (LBaaS) in the cloud. Then, you'll explore the basics of setting up and configuring a load balancer using a cloud provider's LBaaS offering, including adding and removing backend servers. When you’re finished with the session, you’ll have a better understanding of how to use LBaaS to improve the performance and availability of the applications.
