Next, you’ll discover how to identify the 8 wastes in tech workflows (DOWNTIME), translate vague stakeholder complaints into measurable specifications (CTQ), and calculate the cost of poor quality in dollars to build the business case for improvement. Finally, you’ll learn to recognize why local optimization fails, how the system constraint governs overall throughput, and how the DMAIC roadmap provides the discipline to turn diagnosis into action. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the foundational knowledge needed to look at your own environment with new eyes and begin the journey to engineered stability.
