Hi everyone. My name is Casey Ayers, and welcome to my course, Life Beyond Business Analysis. Business analysts develop a more valuable and versatile skillset than almost any other profession in many organizations. Analysts act as researchers, detectives, counselors, facilitators, analyzers, persuaders, and much more when conducting their work effectively. Even so, many business analysts aren't sure what paths might be open to them in their careers as they look to move beyond diagnosing problems and recommending solutions into solving challenges themselves. In this course, you'll learn what makes business analysts so valuable that organizations and some of the pathways that are open to you as your skills evolve. Some of the major topics that we'll cover include looking at what business analysis skills are the most versatile and valuable to develop, a few of the ways you can continue to master your business analysis skills, and how your business analysis skills can translate to exciting new roles as a strategic consultant, project manager, product manager, enterprise architect, and more. By the end of this course, you'll have a better grasp on the options available to you as a business analyst and a roadmap to assessing and improving your skills as you move toward new goals.
