Loading and Unloading Data in Amazon Redshift
Redshift is AWS’ first-party analytical database engine. This course will teach you how to load and unload data from Redshift in different popular file formats as well as the best practices when doing so.
What you'll learn
In order to work with Redshift, you need to load and unload data from the service in different file formats. In this course, "Loading and Unloading Data in Amazon Redshift", you’ll learn about the different commands and best practices to follow when performing these operations. First, you’ll explore the different options of the COPY command with different file formats. Next, you’ll discover the UNLOAD command and export data out to S3. Finally, you'll look at tracking and measuring the performance of your loading and unloading operations. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of loading and unloading data with Amazon Redshift.
