Managing security across Microsoft 365 environments can be challenging, especially with increasing threats targeting email, endpoints, and cloud apps. In this course, Managing Security Using Microsoft Defender XDR for MS-102, you will learn how to investigate and respond to threats using Microsoft Defender XDR, improve organizational security posture, and implement protection across key workloads. First, you will explore how to detect and respond to security incidents using Microsoft Defender XDR, including alerts, incidents, and threat analytics, while improving your organization’s Secure Score. Next, you will discover how to manage email and collaboration protection using Microsoft Defender for Office 365, attack simulations, and investigate phishing threats and user-reported messages. Then, you will examine how to onboard and secure endpoints with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, configure protection settings, and remediate vulnerabilities using the Threat and Vulnerability Management dashboard. Finally, you will learn how to monitor and protect cloud applications using Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, including configuring app connectors, creating policies, and responding to Shadow IT risks. By the end of this course, you will have gained the essential skills needed to manage and respond to security threats across Microsoft 365 services using the Microsoft Defender suite.
