Course Overview Hi everyone, my name is Eric DeLeon, and welcome to my course, Getting Started with MicroStation. I am an AEC Technology Professional with 18 years of experience encompassing work within civil engineering, industrial design, marketing, and new technology environments. MicroStation is one of the top CAD programs in the world, and is used by the majority of government agencies, as well as many private sector firms in the AEC industry and beyond. In addition to being a traditional CAD program, MicroStation has become a powerful modeling, design, and bin program as a part of infrastructure projects of all sizes. This course is for the new MicroStation user. Basic CAD knowledge and terminology is helpful, but not required. Some of the major topics that we will cover include general tools, defining element attributes, controlling the display of design and drawings, and using AccuDraw and AccuSnap. By the end of this course, you will have a solid foundation in using MicroStation to create design and drawing files. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn MicroStation with the Getting Started with MicroStation course at Pluralsight.
