Hello everyone. My name is Tyler Bay, and welcome to my course, MODO Shading and Texturing Fundamentals. I'm a 3D artist and I've had the privilege to work both as a freelancer and at Pixar. Understanding shading and texturing can be useful for anyone who is interested in making 3D imagery, and MODO is a great application to use when doing this. This course is all about learning how to combine shading theory with practical application, while learning how to use MODO at the same time. So one of the major topics that we'll cover include how to use MODO, basic shading theory, comparing various methods in texturing, and applying these ideas to project-based scenarios.
