Course Overview
Hey, guys. My name is Alexander Eriksson. Welcome to my course on Digital Makeup in NUKE. I'm a VFX Compositor and I have worked for many major studios around the world, such as Industrial Light & Magic, MPC, Framestore, Double Negative, and______. The work I do in movies require the highest degree of photo realism, often to a degree of what is even beyond the real, such as making actors' complexions look picture-perfect every time. In this course, I will introduce to some techniques, that I personally use to retouch skin and other types of beauty work. Some of the major topics that we'll cover include 2D tracking and working with camera grain, retouching imperfections and other problem areas, smoothing out wrinkles and skin textures, and covering effective ways of integrating foreground and background images. By the end of the course, you'll know how to easily remove skin imperfections, smooth wrinkles, and even know how to apply image elements, such as (mumbles) onto the skin with a realistic result. But before you move on, make sure you have a basic understanding of compositing in NUKE, since we will be going through some more advanced topics in this course. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn retouching with a Digital Makeup in NUKE course, at Pluralsight.
