What you'll learn
Platform engineers often inherit OpenShift clusters that were never properly hardened: traffic flows freely between workloads, upgrade processes are undefined, and application teams deploy inconsistently across environments. In this course, OpenShift Enterprise Identity and Multi-tenancy, you’ll gain the ability to operate shared OpenShift clusters with repeatable, production-ready practices. First, you’ll explore how to secure internal and external cluster traffic using NetworkPolicies, Ingress Controllers, and TLS certificate management. Next, you’ll discover how to plan and execute controlled cluster upgrades, remediate deprecated APIs, and manage operators through the Operator Lifecycle Manager. Finally, you’ll learn how to standardize application delivery using Helm charts and Kustomize overlays across dev and production environments. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of OpenShift network security and cluster lifecycle management needed to harden clusters, execute safe upgrades, and deliver applications reliably at scale.
