Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Megan Young, and welcome to my course, Photoshop CC Adjustment Layers. I'm a freelance web designer and front-end developer with over 15 years in the print, advertising, and software development industries. Have you ever wondered what adjustment layers are and when to use them in the appropriate context? In this course, we're going to learn all about the basics of adjustment layers and describe in brief detail what each adjustment layer is capable of. Some of the major topics that we will cover include an overview of every adjustment layer available in Photoshop. We'll also use masks with adjustment layers, and we'll create and save presets and conglomerate presets with the Color Lookup adjustment layer. And finally, we'll apply what we've learned in a final composite image. By the end of this course, you'll have a complete understanding of how adjustment layers work and when to use the appropriate adjustment. Before beginning the course, you should be somewhat familiar with Photoshop CC. From here, you should feel comfortable diving into Photoshop courses on Photoshop curves, channels and masking, and layer styles. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn all about adjustment layers in Photoshop with the Photoshop CC Adjustment Layers course at Pluralsight.
