Achieving realistic results when combining two or more images together in Photoshop can be a difficult task. In this course, Photoshop CC Mastering Compositing, you will learn the concepts and techniques required to make believable composites. First, you will learn the importance of perspective and how it is essential for every composite. Next, you will explore how to match color, lighting, and saturation to make each piece of your composite match. Finally, you will discover what to do at the end of every composite to make it all come together. When you are finished with this course, you will not only understand the principles of realistic composites, but you will also know the tools inside of Photoshop to help you apply those compositing principles. Software Required: Photoshop CC.

Course Overview Hi everyone, my name is Jesus Ramirez, and welcome to my course: Photoshop CC Mastering Compositing. I am a graphic designer, instructor, and speaker with over 14 years of design and technology experience. I have been a speaker at some of the largest design and photography events around the world, and have been invited by Adobe to speak at events in the United States, Australia, Latin America, and Asia. I'm most well-known as the founder and host of the Photoshop Training channel, one of the most popular Photoshop YouTube channels in the world. In this course, I will show you how to master compositing in Photoshop. This course is not about the tools in Photoshop or how they work; instead, we will focus on the compositing principles that most people never think about, and how you can use Photoshop to tackle those principles. This is a project-based course, and everything that we will discuss will help you make better composites. Some of the major topics that we will cover in this course include: matching the perspective of your images to make realistic composites. Applying atmospheric perspective to imply depth in a photo. Matching lighting, saturation, and ambient color. Applying lighting to a composite. Creating realistic shadows, and much more. By the end of this course, you will have a deep understanding of what it takes to combine multiple images from different sources to make them seem like a single photo. I hope that you will join me in this journey to learn composting with the Photoshop CC Mastering Compositing course, at Pluralsight.
Understanding Perspective Hi everyone, welcome to Photoshop CC Mastering Compositing. My name is Jesus Ramirez, and in this course, I'm going to show you how to create better composites in Photoshop. Compositing means combining multiple images from different sources and making them look as if it were a single shot. In this course, I'm going to show you the essential techniques that you must know to master compositing, such as matching the perspective of multiple photos, applying atmospheric perspective to fake depth in a composite, matching luminosity, saturation, and color; creating realistic shadows, and much more. In this first module, we will cover what is perhaps the most important compositing principle, and that is perspective. You will learn to match perspective, the different types of linear perspective, the relationship between the horizon line and the objects in your composite, how to scale in perspective, and much more.
