Introduction and Project Overview
Hey everyone, my name is Daniel Xiao and I'm a concept artist who's worked on projects such as Battlefield Four, Dragon Age Inquisition, Transformers, and Hawkin. In this course, we're going to go over techniques for creating rapid concept illustrations for Triple A productions. Some of the major topics we'll be covering include how to set up compositions quickly using a few basic shapes, how to create dramatic lighting, how to use photos to speed up the rendering process, and how to use post-process effects to finalize an image and give it that extra layer of polish. By the end of the training, you'll be equipped with a fast and efficient design process for creating your own concepts at any level of complexity. I'm excited to work with Digital Tutors and share these techniques with you. So let's get started with the first lesson.
