Hi, everyone! My name is Barry, and welcome to my course, How to Recognize, Prevent, and Manage Burnout. I am a software developer and health enthusiast. Burnout is a very serious condition where you are unable to work or do anything else in your life. Many, many people suffer from burnout or are almost burnt out and are looking for a better way to recover from and prevent burnout. In this course, we explore how burnout is the result of prolonged chronic physical and psychological stress and how we can prevent it with healthy habits. Amongst other things, this course covers how physical and mental stress add up; how you can use sleep, food, and exercise to reduce stress; how you can reduce your toxic load and actively relax; and how you can change your circumstances to recover from burnout and prevent future ones. By the end of this course, you'll know what burnout is and how you can recover from it with healthy habits and life choices. You don't need any prior knowledge before you take this course.
