Course Overview
Hello there. I'm Anthony Alampi. I'm the owner of X Factor Consultants, a digital design and web consulting company based in Austin, Texas. We design user‑friendly websites and mobile apps for the Android platform. There are many ways to style your Android apps and many factors to consider when doing so. Who your target users are, what devices they may use, and where they live all impact the styling of your apps. This course is meant to help you learn more about how to style your apps to make them function in a variety of different screen sizes, orientations, and even light conditions. We'll talk more about how to localize your Android apps for different languages, as well as how to create a dark mode using themes. Finally, we'll explore how to enable your app to change layouts in different orientations, as well as feature unique content and functionality, depending on its current layout. Once you've completed this course, you should feel comfortable styling your own Android apps. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn more about Android styling with the Customizing Styles and Themes with Resources course, at Pluralsight.
