Managing storage is a core responsibility of any Linux administrator, but doing it safely and flexibly requires the right tools and techniques. In this course, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA-EX200): Configuring Local Storage, you’ll gain the ability to manage disks, partitions, and logical volumes with confidence. First, you’ll learn how to create and manage partitions on GPT disks using safe, repeatable methods. Next, you’ll build flexible storage using LVM, including physical volumes, volume groups, and logical volumes. Finally, you’ll configure persistent storage with UUIDs and labels, and extend systems non-destructively to meet changing requirements. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills needed to manage Linux storage in both real-world environments and the RHCSA exam.
