Course Overview
[Music] Hi everyone. My name is Matt Conran from Network Insight. Welcome to the course, SD-WAN Architectures: The Big Picture. I'm a network and security architect based out of Ireland. SD-WAN is a disruptive technology that is revolutionizing the way we manage and operate the wide area network. This course will introduce you to the concepts of SD-WAN, core features, and the various SD-WAN architectures with no prior experience with SD-WAN required. Some of the major topics that we will cover include the challenge with the current WAN and some of the environmental changes that are forcing us to rethink the WAN architecture, the SD-WAN overlay and per application topologies, the various path conditioning and remediation options. Also, the SD-WAN architectures available, either on-premise or in the cloud. By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of SD-WAN, its core features, and be able to start talking to the various SD-WAN vendors about their solutions and features available. I hope you will join me in this journey to learn SD-WAN with the SD-WAN Architectures: The Big Picture course, at Pluralsight.
