What you'll learn
Data transformation is the foundational skill for delivering reliable analytics and reporting on Snowflake. In this course, SnowPro Core: Data Transformations, you’ll gain the ability to design and implement scalable data transformations on Snowflake.
First, you’ll explore structured data operations, including estimation functions, sampling methods, stored procedures, streams, and tasks.
Next, you’ll discover semi-structured data handling, leveraging the VARIANT column, FLATTEN/LATERAL FLATTEN commands, and specialized semi-structured functions.
Finally, you’ll learn how to process unstructured data using directory tables, SQL file functions, and custom UDFs to extract and analyze free-form text.
When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Snowflake data transformations needed to succeed on the SnowPro Core Certification exam.
