Course Overview
Hey everyone, my name is Matt Perez, and welcome to my course, SOLIDWORKS Simulation - Design Studies and Optimization. I'm an applications expert at SolidBox providing CAD consulting and training across the country. SolidWorks has been a leader in the CAD industry since it was introduced over 20 years ago. In this course, we're going to learn a bit about design studies and optimization in SolidWorks. Some of the major topics that we'll cover include, iteration with design studies, optimization, and simulation trends. By the end of this course, you will have a solid foundation with SolidWorks design studies, and be on your way to analyzing your own amazing products. Before beginning this course, you should be familiar with SolidWorks Simulation, as well as basic modeling practices, but it's laid out so the topics are arranged from easy to more difficult, and so anyone can follow along. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn SolidWorks Simulation, with the SolidWorks Simulation Design Studies and Optimizations course, at Pluralsight.
