Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is James Bannan, and welcome to my course, Administering System Center Configuration Manager, or SCCM. I am a solutions architect at Ensyst in Australia, a Microsoft MVP in both Azure and cloud and data center management, and the author of Learn System Center Configuration Manager in a Month of Lunches. System Center Configuration Manager is a V industry standard platform for deploying and managing Windows. This course will provide you will a solid foundation for administering the latest builds of config manager and Windows 10. In this course, we're going to work with a functional configuration manager live environment to demonstrate a large number of real life administrative scenarios. Some of the major topics that we will cover include configuring configuration manager site roles, deploying Windows 10 to a machine, working with configuration manager security and role-based access control, and deploying and managing Windows updates. By the end of this course, you'll know how to administer the latest release of configuration manager and to effectively deploy and manage Windows 10. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 10 as we will be using these platforms heavily, but we'll be focusing on configuration manager rather than on Windows specific concepts. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn SCCM with the Administering System Center Configuration Manager course at Pluralsight.
