Accessibility defects become expensive when engineering or testing discovers them late. In this course, UX Accessibility: Designing, you’ll learn to communicate accessible visual, interaction, and semantic intent before implementation. First, you’ll establish a resilient visual foundation using contrast, scalable text, target sizing, and color-independent states. Next, you’ll design inclusive feedback, forms, and data presentation with clear labels, instructions, errors, grouping, and reading order. Then, you’ll specify keyboard behavior, focus movement, landmarks, headings, and semantics for tabs and dialogs. Finally, you’ll produce an accessibility-ready developer handoff and use AI to accelerate review without treating its output as proof of compliance. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have a repeatable workflow for turning an inaccessible mockup into an implementation-ready accessibility specification.
