Yet too many networks remain protected by outdated protocols or misconfigured authentication, leaving organizations exposed to interception, impersonation, and denial of service. In this course, Wireless Security and Troubleshooting, you'll gain the ability to secure enterprise wireless networks against modern threats and systematically resolve connectivity and performance failures. First, you'll explore wireless security protocols from WEP through WPA3, understanding not only how to configure them but why each generation exists - including the critical distinction between personal and enterprise authentication modes, the mechanics of SAE, and the role of RADIUS and certificates in 802.1X deployments. Next, you'll discover the threat landscape facing wireless networks - evil twin APs, deauthentication floods, KRACK, and rogue access points, alongside the detection and mitigation tools that defend against them, including WIPS and management frame protection under 802.11w. Finally, you'll learn how to apply a structured, layered troubleshooting methodology that moves systematically from RF and physical issues through authentication failures to application-layer performance problems.
