Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, Limits, and Deterministic Fallbacks
In this lab, you will explore how guardrails, invocation limits, and fallback mechanisms can be used to stabilize Amazon Bedrock-powered applications. You will review an existing Bedrock workflow, identify the controls that govern model behavior, and observe how the system responds when requests trigger operational constraints. By executing requests that exercise guardrails, retry limits, and fallback paths, you will learn how resilient generative AI applications maintain predictable behavior even when inference results are constrained or unavailable. By the end of the lab, you will understand how defensive controls help improve operational reliability and reduce the impact of probabilistic behavior.
