Enabling Large Pages for JBoss EAP
The JBoss Enterprise Application Server allows users to deploy and manage Java applications — and part of this management is making sure our Java apps run smoothly. For memory-intensive applications, this can mean enabling optimization features such as large pages, which locks pages in memory for faster retrieval — albeit at the expense of a non-application performance. In this lab, we enable large pages and ensure there are no memory issues in our application.
