In this lab, you'll practice offensive security techniques in a capture-the-flag style exercise, using targeted reconnaissance, credential attacks, and legacy protocol exploitation to gain footholds across a simulated corporate network. When you're finished, you'll be able to capture flags from Linux, Windows, and embedded network device targets and submit proof of access for each.

Enumerate SMB shares on a Windows host to identify a share with misconfigured permissions that exposes files without proper authentication, recover a valid credential from a file exposed on that share, and use it to authenticate to a remote management service.

Reach a simulated embedded network device through a legacy management protocol
Identify a network appliance exposing a legacy, unencrypted management protocol, authenticate using its vendor-default credentials, and determine what level of access the appliance grants to the client's internal network infrastructure.
