Linux Security - Using Security Tools

This lab is designed to practice your skills at updating security patches on your Linux OS as well as run nmap to scan for security vulnerabilities on your Linux servers. The scenario for the lab is as follows: The CEO of Eucalyptus and Lavender Inc. has sent out a company-wide email informing employees of a security vulnerability and asking all employees to ensure that security patches are updated on all systems as soon as possible. In your role as systems administrator, you manage 2 Linux systems. Please apply all security-only related updates to your 2 Linux servers. Then install nmap and run the vulnerability scan on both servers. Also, ensure that SSH port 22 is open. Good luck!
