  1. Challenge

Get Started in the Lab Environment

Here are the initial instructions and explanation of the lab environment. Read this while your environment is busy creating itself from nothing. Yes, this violates physics; we know. How fun!

  2. Challenge

Use Kubectl to Interact with the Kubernetes API Server

You'll use kubectl commands to get information about your cluster from the Kubernetes API server, and will create new workloads.

  3. Challenge

Interact with the K8s API Server Using curl

Using curl, you'll replicate the connections made by the kubectl binary to the Kubernetes (K8s) API Server. This will also help you understand the anatomy of the requests.

  4. Challenge

    Use Labels to Connect Workloads

Labels are used by Kubernetes to identify and group resources. You'll use labels to add and remove a pod from an existing deployment.

  5. Challenge

    Work with Pods

Pods are the smallest deployable units of computing that you can create and manage in Kubernetes. In this challenge you will configure probes to ensure the pod is healthy and ready to receive traffic. You will also include init containers in your definition to run any setup scripts.

  6. Challenge

    It's a Wrap!

Welcome to the final challenge! This is your last chance to experiment in the environment. Clicking Finish Lab will end this little world that flittered into existence just for you.
