You will start this lab by using tools such as arp, ping, tcpdump, and Wireshark to identify network features which can be used when troubleshooting.

You're now going to perform some more troubleshooting using traceroute, and will do some network scans and will determine open ports using nmap and other tools.

Troubleshooting an Open vSwitch Network
To finish up the lab, you will use Open vSwitch to create a network that uses the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and will do some troubleshooting.
