Windows Server 2025 SMB over QUIC for Secure Remote File Access
In this lab, you’ll learn how to configure SMB over QUIC on a Windows Server 2025 file server and a Windows client to enable secure, VPN-less remote file access. You’ll set up the necessary roles, apply TLS 1.3 encryption, configure firewall rules, and verify connectivity. When you are finished, you’ll validate your setup by troubleshooting issues and comparing performance with traditional SMB over TCP.
