Basic Administration with Azure Cloud Shell
In this lab, you'll practice executing simple administrative tasks using Azure Cloud Shell. You'll launch an Azure Cloud Shell session, select the appropriate shell environment, set the active subscription context, run Azure CLI commands to inspect and manage common Azure resources, and recognize common authentication, subscription, permission, and shell environment issues. When you're finished, you will have successfully completed a basic administrative workflow using Azure Cloud Shell and Azure CLI.

- Review your permission scope by checking role assignments.

- Deallocate and restart the virtual machine, verifying state changes.
- Apply a governance tag to the virtual machine and confirm it was added.

Recognize and resolve common Cloud Shell and Azure CLI issues
- Diagnose and interpret errors caused by invalid resource group names and insufficient permissions.
- Switch between Bash and PowerShell in Cloud Shell, observe the loss of session state, and recover variables as needed.
