Connect to an Azure Linux VM with Azure Bastion
You are a cloud engineer at Globomantics, tasked with provisioning a Linux virtual machine for a new internal workload and establishing a secure connection path for the team using Azure Bastion. In this lab, you will create a Linux VM, connect to it through Bastion without exposing a public SSH endpoint, and restore access after a connectivity failure is introduced in the environment.

- Remove public inbound ports and public IP addresses during VM creation.
- Confirm the VM reaches a running state in the Azure portal.

Use the Azure portal to initiate a Bastion connection to the running VM.

Restore access after a Bastion connection failure
- Run the BreakBastionAccess runbook found in the lab resource group.
- Attempt to connect to the VM through Azure Bastion and observe the result.
- Investigate the cause of the failure and restore connectivity.
