Creating an Azure Storage Account and Blob Container
In this hands-on lab, we will use the Azure Portal to create a storage account and blob container. Afterwards we will upload files into the blob container. After completing this hands-on lab, you will have gained the experience required to create and use your Azure Storage account using the Azure Portal.

Log into the Azure Portal
Log in to the Azure Portal with the credentials provided in the lab page to begin the process of creating a virtual network

Create a storage account
Within the Azure portal, create a storage account with a globally unique name. The solution video uses a name of 'storagedemo' + your initials, however this is not a hard requirement.

Create a blob storage container named 'my-container'
Create a blob storage container which will be used for uploading blob object files.

Upload files to the blob container
From your local machine, upload files (preferably from your downloads directory) into your container.
