Deploying a Virtual Machine Using the Azure Portal
In this hands-on lab, you will use the Azure portal to create and connect to a simple Azure virtual machine. You will log in to the Azure portal and create a virtual machine, then connect to the virtual machine via RDP. Finally, you will use the Azure portal to stop and then delete the virtual machine. After completing this lab, you will have gained the experience required to create and connect to your first Azure virtual machine.

You will deploy a Windows Server virtual machine using the Azure Portal, selecting basic options such as the subscription, resource group, region, size, and authentication method.

Connect to the virtual machine with remote desktop.
After the VM is deployed, you will use Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to connect to the server.

Stop, then delete a running virtual machine.
After testing connectivity, you will decommission the VM so the company does not incur ongoing charges for unused resources.
