Diagnose and Remediate Azure Resource Lock Issues
In this lab, you’ll see how Azure resource locks can prevent you from performing certain management tasks. Then, you’ll modify the lock to allow you to make necessary edits before reapplying them to maintain the locks protections.

Challenge
Attempt to modify the storage account
- Try to enable Require Secure Access on the storage account.

Find and remove the lock
- Observe the error to find the source of lock.
- Remove the lock from the correct scope.

Retry to make the change on the storage account
- Head back over to the storage account and enable secure transfer required.
- Attempt to delete the storage account to see verify the resource group lock is effective.

Reapply the lock
- Now that the change has been made, recreate the read only lock to restore it protection.
