In this lab, you will execute a targeted infrastructure as code update in an assigned Azure environment using a guided operational workflow. You will configure access, retrieve and inspect an assigned Bicep repository, validate current deployment context, preview the requested update with what-if, deploy the approved change, and verify outputs and resulting Azure resource configuration.

    • Install the Bicep CLI extension and verify it's ready.

    • Clone the Globomantics GitHub repository.
    • Review main.bicep and the main.dev.bicepparam baseline.
    • Run what-if against the dev baseline to confirm no drift.

    Preview, deploy, and verify the infrastructure update
    • Review main.prod.bicepparam and preview changes with what-if.
    • Deploy the approved update to the resource group scope.
    • Verify outputs, updated resource state, and deployment history.
