Set Up a Secure Development Environment for AKS
In this lab, you are a developer tasked with strengthening the security posture of an application running in an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environment. You will set up your local development environment in Visual Studio Code with security-focused extensions, including SonarQube for IDE and Aqua Trivy. Once the tools are installed and configured, you will work with a cloned microservices repository to scan for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, resolve issues in Dockerfiles, and remediate insecure coding practices flagged by SonarQube. By the end of the lab, you will have gained practical skills in using development tools to identify, analyze, and fix security issues in both application code and container configurations.
