The **ISACA Advanced in AI Audit™ (AAIA™)** is the first advanced audit-specific AI certification designed for experienced auditors. Launched in 2025, it validates the ability to evaluate AI governance frameworks, assess operational risks, detect algorithmic bias, and develop audit strategies for AI systems — while ensuring alignment with regulations such as the EU AI Act. This path includes coverage for the AAIA **Exam Date May 19, 2025**.
This path covers the three core AAIA domains: AI governance and risk, AI operations, and AI auditing tools and techniques. Learners will develop the skills needed to provide independent assurance over AI deployments and guide their organizations in responsible, compliant AI adoption.

Beyond the prerequisite certification, ISACA recommends a minimum of three years of experience in audit, risk, or compliance, with at least one year in technology-related auditing.
