The first section of courses will teach the viewer the foundation for cloning, healing, and using basic tools in Photoshop to correct tone, hue, and saturation.
Welcome to this course, where we'll completely relight an image in Photoshop using a process that involves adjustment layers, masking, blend modes, and filters. We'll begin by discussing the original image and prepare it for the process of relighting by working in greyscale so that we can focus on how values are represented. From here, we'll apply curves and levels as adjustment layers combined with masking to direct how shadows and highlights are cast based upon our intended light source. Finally, we'll focus on refining highlights, adjusting colors, and applying a lighting effects filter to wrap up our project. Have you ever taken a photo that looked great except for the some small distracting element that crept its way into the shot? Photoshop comes equipped with some really effective healing and retouching tools that allow you to make the edits you need to a photo by removing any unflattering or distracting elements. We'll begin by learning about the spot healing brush and how we can use it to remove blemishes from skin. Following this, we'll demonstrate how we can use the healing brush to not only remove unwanted facial blemishes but also other elements of a photo. Along the way, we'll discover the power of editing with the patch tool, the content-aware move tool, the clone stamp tool and other useful editing features to remove or re-position certain elements of an image. As we explore these tools, we'll also discuss editing non-destructively to preserve the original aspects of each image we work with. But over time printed photographs can deteriorate due to chemical decay and weather conditions. In this course, Restoring Old and Damaged Photos in Photoshop, you'll examine a photograph taken in 1939 that has severely faded over the years. First, you'll learn how to analyze and prepare your photo digitally. Next, you'll edit the photo's tones by building contrast and adding adjustment layers. Finally, you'll learn how to restore the damaged photo and bring back details that appear to have been lost, healing pen markings, blemishes, and foreground scratches. In this Photoshop tutorial, we'll learn some tips and tricks to remove unwanted elements and reconstruct some parts of this beautiful interior scene. Some of the key takeaways in this course include removing unwanted elements from the photo such as the people, lights, cables and protection fences. In this Photoshop tutorial, we'll learn some advanced photograph retouching techniques. We'll start by removing some wires from the sky. From there, we'll tackle a variety of challenges that many photo retouching projects encounter such as removing buildings, comping in another photo to help add believability to the background, color correcting certain areas and cleaning up anything that might detract from the photo without making it appear as if it was edited. By the end of this Photoshop training, you'll have tips and techniques you'll need to be able to tackle your own photo retouching projects.
Photoshop layers allow you to create complex, detailed, and beautiful designs. Whether you would like a basic understanding of Photoshop layers, or a comprehensive understanding, this course, Mastering Layers in Photoshop CC, is perfect for you. First, you'll discover how to create and modify layers at the most basic level, including blend modes and different styles. Next, you'll move onto more advanced topics such as masks, adjustment layers, and smart object layers. Finally, you'll create a poster while utilizing much of what you learned about layers. If you have ever looked at a model on the cover of a magazine, odds are that model has been retouched and manipulated to some degree in Photoshop. We'll begin this process by focusing on our subject's neck and chin where we'll use Liquify in Photoshop to reshape both features. Following this we'll spend some time pealing away some weight from her face by using the clone stamp to reduce some of the shadows. From there we'll move on to the body where we'll jump back into Liquify to trim the waistline and thin down the figure. Following this we'll tackle repositioning the right arm and slimming it down some. As we continue to sculpt our model's body we'll also resize and reshape her chest area to fit the manipulations that we have made to her figure. Finally, we focus on removing some unwanted folds in her dress and applying final touchups to her overall form. After watching this tutorial, you'll be able to use Photoshop to retouch and manipulate models for your own projects with added confidence while having a lot of fun. We'll begin this process by establishing our visual topic, examining some conceptual sketches and discussing some visual parameters that will provide us with a road map to follow as we develop our photo-manipulated image. Along the way we'll spend several lessons in Photoshop weaving together various images to construct our project. From here we'll see how smart objects, smart filters, layer masks, blend modes, and adjustment layers can help us achieve the look and feel we are aiming for on this project. In addition to these helpful tools and features, we'll also spend time painting and applying some textures to refine our photo-manipulated image and make it shine. In this Photoshop tutorial, we'll use basic techniques to create a thematic space cargo.
