The Project Management Success Principles training course is designed to teach students project management concepts and sound practices that can improve their ability to execute projects.
The course begins by explaining the various ways that projects are initiated and how to ensure that adequate details are collected and appropriate individuals are engaged. Next, students will learn how to successfully manage a project. Project Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing processes are covered in detail. This ensures that the students understand how "progressive elaboration" is used to bring clarity to the anticipated project goals, stakeholders, scope, requirements, schedule, risks, resources, roles and responsibilities, budget, change control, testing, deployment, and lessons learned as the project progresses.
This is a hands-on class in which the students have the opportunity to apply the concepts being presented immediately, either using a real company project or a case study.
