Kurt carries a varied set of skills beginning with 10 years of traditional experience as an architectural and advertising illustrator in Chicago. Luckily, traditional skills were enough to find work as a video game artist in the 90's when Kurt received his first video game job for Midway Games on an arcade touch-screen game called Touchmaster. This lead to roles on some of Midway's AAA console titles such as Stranglehold and Mortal Kombat as an Environment and Lead Environment Artist. More recently, he's contributed to Singularity and several Call of Duty titles through Activision's Raven Studio in Wisconsin. With 17 years of game experience and after a 1 year break to recharge, he's been working on an unannounced title at Twisted Pixel Games in Austin, Texas as Environment Lead and is eager to share his experiences.
