Managing Disk Partitions and Mounts on RHEL 8
Before we can use a disk to store data, we need to prepare it. Most of the time, the first step is to create or modify partition(s) on the disk. In this hands-on lab, we will list, create, and delete partitions on MBR and GPT disks. *This course is not approved or sponsored by Red Hat.*

- List your disk partitions using various tools
- Create a new partition and put a file system on it
- Unmount the file system
- Create an extended and logical partitions and confirm

Configure Systems to Mount File Systems at Boot by Universally Unique ID (UUID) or Label
- Display the information about your disks, including the UUID
- Configure a file system to be mounted and available on boot
- Confirm the file system would be mounted during boot

- Add a swap file system to the system
