Course Overview
You can mock up apps multiple ways, but one of the easiest ways to design in prototype websites and mobile apps is with Adobe Experience Design CC. In this first look course, we'll take a closer look at the features and interfaces that Adobe XD has to offer. We will be creating some assets for our coffee app, as well as importing and copying images and elements from Photoshop and Illustrator. We will open up Adobe XD and discuss this brand new app's interface. Next, let's start to design things. We'll learn how to create shapes, text, and we'll look at the brand new tool called the Repeat Grid. This will lead us into prototyping. We will create interactions between artboards and see how our story flows. Lastly, we will preview our creation and create recordings and shareable links to collaborate with the world. Please join me in this first look of Adobe Experience Design CC.

Up and Running
Adobe Experience Design CC is a quick and streamlined way to create website and app mockups. In this course I will simply call this application Adobe XD. You can easily switch from mocking a design to prototyping within a single click. With Adobe XD, you can create wire frames with your own design, and preview them in real time. You can easily create shareable links and send them to your coworkers, partners, for instant feedback. We will be creating our own mock-up for an iOS application, surrounding a coffee brand, AYOR Coffee. It's a good brand, because you have to drink it at your own risk. This is a coffee brand that needs its own iOS application. We will be creating a streamlined design that will contain multiple pages. The design in the mock-up will lead you into a interactive prototype where we will map and connect pages and buttons, creating functionality. Finally, we will take that prototype and check out a live preview to make sure it's working correctly and to see if the overall flow of the app meets our expectations. We will be switching from Photoshop to Illustrator to show how you can copy assets from each program into Adobe XD. This is a first-look course, so we're not going to dive incredibly deep into everything, but we will be covering a lot, and in this module, we're going to cover the following. We're going to open up Adobe XD and check it out. We're going to look at Adobe XD's Design Interface. Not the interface of Adobe XD's, but their tool called Design. Adobe XD's prototyping interface, and finally we're going to look at Adobe XD's Preview Interface. With that being said, kick back, grab some coffee, and let's get going. In the next clip we're going to open up Adobe XD and check it out. See you guys in the next clip.

Create UI Design
Welcome to the module Create UI Design. In this module, what we're going to cover is the Repeat Grid, we're going to cover how to make masks, we're going to cover how to create shapes and manipulate them, we'll take a look at text, we'll take a look at how to drag and drop assets into Adobe XD, and finally we'll wrap up with importing Photoshop and Illustrator assets. Well, we'll see you guys in the next clip.

Prototype Interactions and Navigation
Welcome to Prototype Interactions and Navigation. Let's take a look at what we're going to learn in this module. We're going to look at interactive wireframe. We're going to create wireframes and interactions between art boards and elements on those art boards. We want to give it the appearance that there's movement to our story that we're trying to tell. We're going to create an image slider, and finally, we're going to create switches and buttons. Well, let's get after it. See you guys in the next clip.

Share and Collaborate
Share and collaborate. That is the name of this module and it's going to be a very exciting one. Let's go ahead and cover what we're going to go over. We're going to talk about Preview and Record. We're going to look at more functionality within the Preview settings. And how to Record our actual Preview and share it. We're going to look at how to create a shareable link, cause what's more important than just seeing that video is giving them that option to see the workflow for themselves. To see the navigation, to see the interactions. And it's very awesome that you can create something and share it and actually have them test it. And then finally we're going to talk about what's next. What's next with Adobe XD. Where do we go from here? What's Adobe XD's next plan? What are their next updates like? How do I submit a feature request and etc. We'll see you guys in the next clip.
