Introduction and Project Overview
Hey guys. My name is Jonathan Lam. I'm a concept artist and animator at the UK indy game company, called Aeterna Studios. My latest project includes the Kickstarter-funded game, Eminence, Xander's Tales, which I'll be basing this tutorial on. In this course, we are going to learn how to animate your concept environment, breathing life into images using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. Some of the major topics that we'll be discussing in this course will include how to prepare your Photoshop file for animation and to animate different elements of your painting, such as grass, rocks, and wind. Some basics, using Trapcode Particular, and finally, how to complete your file and render it into a video. By the end of the training, you will have learned how to create professional animated concept art, which has been seen in popular games, such as League of Legends and Hearthstone. I'm excited to work with Digital Tutors and share these valuable tricks and techniques with you guys. So let's get started with the first lesson.
