Introduction and Project Overview
Hi everyone, my name is Jonas De Ro. I am a conceptual artist at Warner Brothers Studios. I am currently working on the sci-fi epic, "Jupiter Ascending". In this course we are going to learn how to effectively paint a cool looking concept environment. Some of the key takeaways from watching this course include learning how to study landscapes and dissect big shapes, colors, and values, focus on thumbnail composition, quickly paint elements using custom brushes, using stock photos and textures to quickly add realistic detail, work with silhouettes, lighting, and atmosphere. By the end of the training you will have learned how to paint a cool concept environment in a short amount of time. I'm excited to work with Digital-Tutors and share these great painting techniques with you. Sign in or sign up, and let's get started.
