Lisa Liang worked at ILM, creating matte paintings for films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Evan Almighty. From there, she designed concept environments for games such as, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Star Trek Online, Neverwinter Online, among others. Currently, in addition to creating concepts for mobile games, she continues to travel and discover new experiences.

Introduction and Project Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Lisa Liang. I'm a concept artist at CQ Game. Some video games and film projects I've worked on include Call of Duty, Star Trek Online, and Pirates of the Caribbean. In this course, we're going to learn how we can concept environments from imagination. Some of the major topics that we'll be discussing in this course will include bringing your imagination to life, how to research and create architectural design, pictorial composition, color, lighting, and translating these skills to concept art and games. By the end of this training, you will be knowledgable about methods to develop lifelong skills in creating paintings and experiments of your own and in your careers. I'm very excited to work with Digital Tutors and share these things with you. So, let's get started.
