Course Overview Hi everyone, my name is Sean Douglas, and I want to welcome you to my course Deploying Cisco Unified IM and Presence with Jabber. I've been a Cisco engineer and instructor for two decades. In that time, I've worked a lot with Cisco networking. I'm a CCNA and CCNP in routing and switching, data center, and collaboration. I spend a lot of time working with this technology because it's interesting, it's challenging, and it's fun. In this course, which is the third in the series we're creating for you, we're going to examine deploying a Cisco Jabber solution. Our goal is to save you time and give you the skills to roll out Jabber in your network. By the end of this course, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to deploy Cisco Jabber, manage contacts, customize the application, and troubleshoot a variety of common issues. Before beginning this course, you should have a basic understanding of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, either by having watched the previous courses, building gateways, SIP trunks, and cubes, basic call operations and components, or experience working with Cisco Unified Communications Manager. I hope you'll join us as we save you time and frustration with the Deploying Cisco Unified IM and Presence with Jabber course at Pluralsight.
