Introduction and Project Overview
Hello my name is Ismail Wamala. I'm a freelance concept artist that has worked on a variety of projects, most recent being the movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. In this series of lessons of designing male and female transforming robots in Photoshop, we will look at the steps that I used to create concept art for presentation purposes. During the lessons, examples we will cover is how to relate car design to human anatomy, how to quickly rough out our designs and use photo collage and paint over techniques to render the final pieces. By the end of this tutorial you will have a solid understanding of the workflows that I used to help me design quick and detailed transforming robot concept art pieces. So let's go ahead and begin with a gathering and analysis of our reference material.
