Hello. I'm Raina Kumra. Welcome to my course on Developing Diversity Intelligence. I'm in early stage technology investor, entrepreneur, reformed advertising executive, and data ethics advocate, and I help organizations overcome bias through redesigning their structure. In this course, we'll explore practical methods of ensuring that you get a chance to develop what I call diversity intelligence. This course will help you lead inclusively by developing a true understanding of the buzzwords you might be hearing, like bias and diversity, and help you unpack underlying concepts, like power and how to be an ally. And most importantly, this course is full of tips to help you implement your learnings right away into your organization's culture, meetings, and teams. First, you'll explore how power works and who has it and who doesn't and how it can be shared. Next, you'll discover how team culture can become diverse and effective by adding some easy programs to your company structure. You'll also get tips for how to be an effective ally and sponsor. Finally, you'll learn how to write and create your team's core values with diversity at the center. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the skills and knowledge of diversity intelligence needed to transition and thrive as a diverse and inclusive team.
