Hi everyone. My name is Casey Ayers, and welcome to my course Business Analysis Techniques: Managing the Requirements Life Cycle. Conducting effective business analysis involves crafting requirements that elegantly and comprehensively describe how a change initiative can empower an organization to achieve a desired vision for the future. In this course, you'll learn how to apply an array of business analysis techniques to the creation, management, fulfillment, and validation of requirements. Some of the different techniques we'll cover include those related to utilizing use cases and user stories to define and share requirements, leveraging modeling and diagramming techniques to better understand requirements, and how they integrate with one another, creating knowledge assets that ensure your team can speak about change initiatives clearly and with a high level of precision in addition to a tour of additional techniques you may find useful in managing requirements. By the end of this course, you'll have gained familiarity with the tools and techniques that encompass the tasks analysts use to manage the requirements life cycle effectively during change initiatives. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with some of the principles of business analysis in order to better relate to the material we'll discuss. This course is part of our CBAP prep series, helping you prepare for the premiere certification offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis.
